What you’ll do:

 

 

 

Position title: SAP iXp Intern - S4 ABAB Quality Assurance

 

Location: Hybrid - Newport Beach

 

Expected start date: December 2024

 

Duration: 6 -12 months

 

Working hours: part time - full time 20hrs./week - 40 hrs./week

 

 

 

SAP seeks an S4 ABAP Quality Intern to join our software development team. The intern will support the development and quality assurance of SAP S/4HANA and ABAP applications. This internship is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in SAP technologies and quality assurance processes within a leading organization.

 

 

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

 

  • Quality Assurance: Participate in testing ABAP applications to ensure they meet business requirements and quality standards.
  • Support in Development: Assist in developing ABAP programs for SAP S/4HANA.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation for ABAP programs and processes.
  • Debugging and Troubleshooting: Assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues in ABAP code and providing solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other developers to understand the requirements and deliver high-quality products.

Requirements:

 

 

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Programming Skills: Proficiency in at least one commonly used programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, etc.).
  • Testing Skills: Knowledge of writing unit and integration tests.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Eagerness to Learn: Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and methodologies.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

 

  • Experience: Previous internship or project experience in software development and testing.
  • Knowledge of ABAP and S/4HANA: A basic understanding of ABAP programming language and SAP S/4HANA.

 

 

 

Meet your team:

 

Our team is an on-site team based out of Newport Beach that closely collaborates with developers in Bangalore, India. Our development team works as one full stack agile scrum team. The developers are both seasoned ABAP veterans and first timers. We are seeking an intern who is highly motivated to quickly learn how to build enterprise applications using ABAP.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
