Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to leverage understanding of the SAP S/4HANA OTC and its relevant components, including order capture, delivery fulfillment and invoice creation for comprehensive solution support operations.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Drive the analysis of system landscape, technical issues, and assessment of core business processes for new generation SAP industry cloud solutions. Provide customer feedback to development based on delivery based on analysis of functional gaps via SAP services. Ensure that documentation is available and up to date for the respective area of expertise and delivers root cause analysis, performance optimization and assessments. Perform root cause analysis and deliver services in complex environments for specific areas in the top customer segment. Contribute to de-escalation activities onsite at critical customers and play a key role in war room engagements. Analyze system landscapes and technical issues, as well as core business process for all applications. Deliver premium services onsite/remote as a functional expert for broad area of topics, as well as perform System Performance and Bottleneck Analysis. Deliver technical integration validation, including performance analysis and optimization of E2E business processes, data consistency analysis, and check of critical interfaces regarding performance and transactional correctness. Provide feedback to enhance and adapt existing services, business processes, products, and functions. Develop support services for new products, components, and ramp-up solutions. Adapt standard service products to customers' needs. Assume back office responsibilities as functional expert.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.

 

Work Experience:

Position requires prior experience, internship, or academic course work to include each of the following:

  • Object oriented systems analysis and design procedures including plan, create, test, and deploy an information system;
  • Database concepts including SQL, semantic layer modeling, and front-end visualization development;
  • Prototype and create business application using software engineering concepts;
  • Use distributed systems concepts to create highly robust and scalable applications;
  • Implement computation algorithms to improve time and memory consumption of business applications;
  • Data intensive computing; and
  • Perform optimization of business application.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 40% domestic to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $87,984 - $102,150. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $87,984 - $113,500. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
