Job Title: Business Processes Consultant

Location: Newtown Square, PA

 

Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc. seeks a Business Processes Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to resolve known errors by means of SAP Notes, Knowledge Base articles, info docs derived from solved customer incidents, documentation, WIKI, and verifying customized entries or hardware parameters.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Perform root cause analysis and provide solutions. Deliver MaxAttention services to support successful adoption of the SAP solutions. Deliver Integration Validation service during the SAP implementation project using SAP service delivery hub to safeguard SAP implementation for our customers. Report errors to development organizations and reproduce the issue. Share and document knowledge through creation of WIKI entries and Knowledge Base articles. Participate in Real-time support (Expert Chat, Schedule an Expert) in cooperation with an experienced support engineer. Participate in weekend support/ 24x7 support activities. Support Queue Management tasks. Contribute ideas to help towards the PS vision and participate in projects aimed at achieving the PS vision. Carry out new tasks as requested by STM, GFM and GSC head to help achieve the PS vision.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or a related field of study and 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation. The Company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or a related field of study.

 

Work Experience:

Position requires prior experience, internship or academic coursework to include each of the following:

  • SAP Platform architecture, analysis, design, enhancement and implementation;
  • Analytics and Data Visualization tools and concepts;
  • Root cause analysis and deliver analytics development and support services in multi-tiered and system environments;
  • Define secure ways to connect front-end reporting tools to databases and execute subsequent development and implementation of analytics solutions; and
  • Define secure ways to connect to customer systems, analyze customer requirements to design and implement scalable SAP Solutions and execute subsequent implementation of customized SAP solutions.

 

Travel: Position requires up to 20% domestic travel to various and unanticipated client sites. Telecommuting permitted.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary for this position is $87,984. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $87,984 - $98,400. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
