Cyber Security AI & Automation Engineer

What you`ll do: 

Summary: 

The Security AI & Automation Engineer will play a vital role within our team and will have the primary responsibility of safeguarding our organization's critical assets. This position is an individual contributor role, focused on the development of a cutting-edge automation platform that will enhance our operations by seamlessly integrating both process and control automation, eliminating the need for manual intervention. This innovative development role will enhance efficiency, reduce human error, and streamline our workflows, ultimately saving time and resources. 

Leveraging both proprietary and open-source tools and technologies, the Development Specialist will tackle a diverse set of intricate challenges aimed at improving the team's efficiency and effectiveness. The Role: 

• Develop, test, and maintain custom as well as open-source tools with the aim of automating processes and enhancing operational efficiency. 

• Conduct meetings to assess and rank potential projects, considering their impact, feasibility, and urgency. 

• Utilizes expertise in cybersecurity and vulnerability management operations to ensure that technical results align with the needs of operational stakeholders. 

• Collaborate across teams to establish requirements, assess architectural options, analyze trade-offs, and propose solutions. 

• Design and implement vector database solutions for efficient semantic search and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems 

• Develop and optimize large language model reasoning pipelines, including chain-of-thought prompting, multi-step reasoning, and model fine-tuning for domain-specific applications 

• Engage in close collaboration with Operations Analysts, Vulnerability Detection Engineers, Threat Intelligence Analysts, Automation Engineers, and Product Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of their challenges and objectives. Subsequently, formulate and prioritize solutions to assist in achieving these goals. 

• Enhance the user-friendliness of our current tools by introducing innovative technical features and frameworks. Additionally, deploy new tools and platforms to ensure that the company is embracing industry’s best practices. 

• Cultivate trust among stakeholders by consistently delivering high-quality results. 

• Advocates best practices, design patterns, and standards by conducting workshops, sharing knowledge, and facilitating code walk-throughs. 

What you bring: 

• A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security 

• Development Specialist with 3+ years of experience 

• Strong organizational and analytical abilities, with a track record of working with at least one development/release framework. 

• Comprehensive knowledge of at least one software development or scripting language, such as Golang, TypeScript 

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (like JavaScript and HTML5) 

• Both written and verbal proficiency, enabling effective communication at every level within the organization. 

• Capability to manage involvement in multiple intricate initiatives simultaneously. 

• A plus if you have experience with SAP BTP, SAP Kyma, SAP Cloud Foundry, SAP AI Core, JFrog, Kubernetes, Helm, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, SAST tools, ArgoCD 

• A plus if you have experience in in implementing AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn) and integrating AI models into production systems through APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms, ensuring seamless deployment and scalability of AI solutions. 

• A plus if you have experience with managing and maintaining databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA) including tasks such as performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, and schema design.
