Purpose and Objective: 

SAP America, Inc seeks an Expert Support Engineer at our Newtown Square, PA location and various client sites nationwide responsible for Application Process Design and Implementation to define customer process model and execute discovery workshop.

 

Expectations and Tasks:

Design and implement application architecture. Implement, test, train applications and processes. Optimize business processes. Support Integration and Development (including Validation). Take care of the integration topics like user integration, system integration and process integration. Ensure data consistency, performance and exception management. Define technical architecture, landscape, and underlying infrastructure. Provide a detailed architecture blueprint as basis for the other work streams (like General Basis Support). Support Application Lifecycle Management; Setup the project and production landscape; and Setup the software logistics, provide user access and introduce security aspects. Support Data Migration; Setup the migration landscape and migration tools; and Implement rules for mapping and technical, rule-based data quality measures. For RunSAP Like a Factory / Transition to Operations: Define the customer target operational model; Design and implement application lifecycle management; Integrate new business solutions or technical components into operation; and Setup or optimize operation control center. Support Landscape Transformation Management, SAP LT based projects, SAP General Ledger Migration). 30% travel required to various client sites nationwide.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Physics, Information Systems or a related field of study and 7 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 5 years of experience. Employer will accept a three year or combination of degrees/diplomas as meeting the Bachelor's requirement.

 

Work Experience:

Experience must involve 5 years in the following: Corporate and IT Process Management with tools such as ARIS, Together, SAP Solution Manager; Change Management including Organizational and Technical; Project Management for large and medium scale projects; Change Request Management with SAP Solution Manager; Test Management with SAP Solution Manager; Setting up implementation control centers with SAP Solution Manager; Service Delivery Planning; Service Delivery Execution; Management of Delivery Teams across organizations; Organization and Participation (e.g. Speaker) Internal in various regions; Organization Conferences, Fairs and Exhibitions as well as key customer events; Partner Management on Global level for IT Management and Organizations; Partner Network for large scale projects global across regions; Execution and Support of medium to large scale projects; Strategy and Execution for Customer Care  & Success in business area support and managed services; Build & Support Innovation Initiatives for Key Accounts in Market Unit, Region and/or Global; and Network and High Coverage of Customers top Accounts. Experience must also include: Integrated Requirements to Deploy with Focused Build on SAP Solution Manager; Service Delivery Planning; Service Delivery Execution; Application Management Services with SAP Solution Manager, Focused Run on and HANA Enterprise Cloud landscapes; Sales Functions in Detail for SAP centric customers from solutioning to signature. 30% travel required to various client sites nationwide.
