Meet your team
SAP Enterprise Cloud Services (ECS) is part of the Product Engineering board area. As private cloud managed services provider, SAP ECS is offering and contributing to key aspects in the intelligent business transformation journey.
This position requires the employee to work from one of these locations: Newtown Square, Atlanta, Orlando, Dallas, Houston or Chicago.
What you’ll do
One of SAP’s strategic customers has initiated a transformation program, part of which is to consume their entire SAP landscape as enhanced private cloud model provided by SAP with more than 80 productive systems and several of the largest SAP HANA-based systems. To provide the right level of service, a dedicated team has been set up within SAP Enterprise Cloud Services to work for this strategic client. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption as the customer is at the start of a large-scale multi-year SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
As an IT Architecture Senior Specialist, you are responsible to:
· play a key role in our customers S/4 journey where high quality, downtime minimized S/4 conversion are the measure of success
· consult with the customer assisting them to articulate their outcome based requirements - this includes technical architecture and it's supporting processes
· collaborate with internal partners to identify relevant standard solutions that would be available for efficient deployment.
· where required, innovate (architect, design, build, test a customer specific solution), this includes the technical application stack, infra stack or services
What you bring
Technical
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Engineering, Information Management
· Solid know-how of SAP Technologies and Products (SAP certification highly beneficial)
· Expert level BASIS, HANA, SUSE knowledge (preferably Pacemaker experience) > 6 years
· Good knowledge of hyperscaler infrastructure, tools, and processes > 2 years
· S/4 experience including Fiori, embedded gateway, and technical conversions
· Problem solving skills, including incident resolution, RCA
· Able to take technical requirements, analysis these, identify existing solutions or architect new
Soft skills
· Strong communication skills: Articulate technical details effectively to non-technical individuals using clear and concise language.
· Customer-focused: Thrive in high-pressure situations and maintain a strong focus on delivering exceptional service to customers.
· Excellent presentation skills: Capable of delivering engaging presentations, utilizing storytelling techniques and PowerPoint to effectively convey information.
· Strong documentation abilities: Skilled in creating comprehensive and organized documentation, including standards and procedures.
Work experience
· 8 years working in IT
· Strong operations background, with recent architecture experience
· Working in customer-facing roles,

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 145000 - 246400(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
