Purpose and Objective:
SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Technology Services Specialist at our Newtown Square, PA location to be responsible for designing and developing systems, applications, products, services, and data to optimize/automate SAP’s business processes and improve work efficiency.
Expectations and Tasks:
Engage with business stakeholders and other technology teams to deliver solutions to business requirements. Perform complex data and system development along with technology integration through learned technology coding languages. Facilitate the system / service / product lifecycle, and ensure stable, secure, performant and high available operations for and between system and cloud services. Facilitate agile engagement with the business. Revise and update existing programs and provide required documentation. Key tasks and activities include: Manage cloud technologies, the associated architectural styles (microservices, containerization, serverless architectures) and web development stacks Apply agile software delivery process and the industry-standard toolset for DevOps implementation. Apply modern data processing technologies and methods, such as non-SQL databases, and data lakes. Apply modern SaaS platform, integration & extensibility concepts.
Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies:
Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and five (5) years of progressive experience required in the job offered or a related occupation.
The company will also accept a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics or a related field and three (3) years of experience required in the job offered or a related occupation.
Work Experience:
Prior experience to include each of the following:
- Design and Implement SAP SD & MM organizational elements;
- Planning and execution of SAP Integration projects;
- Requirement Gathering Configuration, Testing and Post Go Live support of SAP SD, MM and RAR modules;
- Mapping Client’s industry processes by performing fit-gap analysis;
- Understanding of SAP system landscape and architecture;
- Loading Master Data into SAP Systems using LSMW recordings and ABAP programs;
- SAP Defects management;
- Cross modular experience with SAP MM WM & FICO;
- Conducting end user trainings;
- Documenting Design, Implementation & Testing activities.
Travel: Telecommuting permitted up to 100%. Position can be based in any U.S. location.
