PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Intelligent Enterprise Solutions (IES) provides efficient IT solutions, technology, and operational support to our Lines of Businesses (LoBs) with a strong focus on user-centricity. Supporting more than 100,000 employees and thousands of SAP systems, IES is delivering business applications be it classical SAP or new SaaS solutions, mobile apps, web & HANA Cloud Platform-based applications, as well as workplace technology services covering hardware, client software, and unified communications solutions.
The IES Cash Collections & Revenue Accounting CoE within the IES Business Solutions organization consults, implements & operates IT solutions to make internal SAP Global Finance & Accounting teams more productive & help SAP run at its best. The team supports processes in Revenue recognition, Cash Collection, and Credit Card Handling.
The IES Cash Collections & Revenue Accounting CoE would like to engage motivated interns and provide the opportunity for further development. This is your opportunity to:
- Gain systems design and analysis experience
- Work on SAP Fiori App development and SAP Conversational AI (CAI) chatbot development
- Work in a highly motivated international team
- Manage and take responsibility for own defined tasks in an Agile setup
- Get to know the area of technical consulting as well as the internal revenue recognition process
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Understand the revenue recognition process and the implementation of SAP RAR (Revenue Accounting & Reporting) module within SAP
- Develop ABAP reports based on end-user requirements
- Develop SAP Fiori Apps
- Add new capabilities to the Revenue Accounting CAI chatbot
- Enhance existing functionalities by identifying critical pain points and proposing solutions
- Contribute to a key stable team within an Agile framework
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Experience in ABAP development is a must
- Experience with SAP Fiori and UI5 a must
- Knowledge of SAP FI/SD modules is nice to have
- Understanding of an Agile/SCRUM software development methodology nice to have
- Very good experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- Organized, detail-oriented, strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- A highly motivated, readily adaptable individual who thrives in a fast-paced team environment
