Purpose & Objective of Position


Our Finance LoB Product Marketing team is responsible to drive worldwide the end-to-end customer journey for the entire SAP Finance and GRC software portfolio. We develop buying center-based product marketing content, programs, campaigns as well as virtual events.  In doing so, we offer strategies that support the information needs of the target audiences. Within this role, we work closely in a virtual community with our regional counterparts in Europe, USA, Latin America and Asia Pacific as well with S/4HANA marketing team and the Finance and Risk Solution Management and CoE teams. 


Expectations & Tasks


  • Maintaining Finance Marketing JAM sites (Updates, reviewing links, monitoring for old content, etc)
  • Power Point (Refreshing old decks, putting them in current year templates, review decks for font and formatting consistencies)
  • Proof reading e.g. Blogs or solution briefs or any other copy 
  • Blogs – help manage a calendar and schedule with reminders, etc.
  • Help with reference story pipeline qualification 
  • Virtual Event logistics and maintaining results reports
  • Uploading assets to the different channels (YouTube – Digital Library – internal file storage - …with high quality and consistent titles, abstract and tagging, supporting roll-out with social etc.) – maintaining an internal list of assets with status – storage place etc.


Skills / Competencies


  • Good at coordinating and managing projects
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and other Microsoft Office skills
  • Comfortable working with senior subject matter experts
  • Experience in working in a virtual environment
  • Fluent English language skills needed in order to proof read copy of marketing assets


Educational Requirements


  • Student or very recent graduate at a university/college or currently enrolled in an MBA program
  • At least one of these (or other related) preferred fields of study: marketing, business economics, business administration, finance, accounting, MBA, Governance Risk and Compliance, software security administration, statistics, communications 
  • Computer skills: strong in MS Office programs, familiarity using social media channels (Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube)
  • Language skills: fluent in English a must in order to proof read marketing copy
  • Soft skills: Ability to work in a multinational and multi-cultural team spread across multiple time zones, good organizational skills, structural way of working, self-motivated, team player, flexible, quick learner, good networker, strive for optimization
  • SAP experience or knowledge highly valued but not mandatory




  • Experience in the field of marketing in the form of previous internships or working student positions are beneficial.
  • Strong proof reading skills are a must
  • We are looking for a student that is available for at least 6 months (optional extension to longer)
  • A basic understanding of Marketing and SAPs product portfolio is beneficial
