Position Summary:
The SAP Student Training and Rotation (STAR) Program is a multi-year undergraduate rotational program that is designed to employ students over internships or co-ops, with the ultimate goal being full-time employment and integration with SAP upon graduation. The STAR program allows students to get hands-on experience and rotate between multiple lines of businesses such as SAP’s Internal IT (internal IT support), Digital Business Services (software support and consulting), Enterprise Analytics (sales analytic support), Core Software Development and Custom Development (custom solutions for customers). Selected students will be eligible to complete an international rotation at their choice of one of over 200 worldwide office locations. Visit sap.com/careers/starprogram to learn more.

Expectations and Tasks:
STAR students first receive a full range of formal training on SAP’s core technology stack and soft skills, prior to entering their specific department. Students are expected to commit to full-time employment when on break from their university and part-time during their academic terms.

Top performers who successfully graduate from the university will be well-positioned for full-time employment in one of the appropriate areas of the business at SAP. Graduates of the program will likely find their ideal job in the areas of software development, service & support, product management, or consulting.
COVID Statement: Working conditions have changed since the 2020 COVID pandemic. Until COVID cases are controlled, the STAR internship will be completely remote. All interns will have the equipment (laptops, headphones, etc.) mailed to their homes, enabling the STAR intern to do fulfill the expectations of their job. The SAP Crisis Response Committee determines if and when offices are safe to reopen. If during the internship period, the offices begin to reopen, the STAR interns will create a return-to-office plan with the STAR manager unique to their comfortability level. Eventually, the return-to-office plan will lead to the STAR intern working in the office to need the requirements of the internship.
