We are seeking the Senior Build Service Support Engineer in Development Productivity Team of Release Engineering. This role is responsible to work on the engineering service side to provide the build operations, build triage and support for CI/CD pipeline, also provide the prompt support on software development for build specific. This role collaborates with the whole Dev Prod team at multi-sites to help improve service processes.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Take ownership of operation, maintenance and support from BLR for build side.
  • Triage build issue and provide the prompt support for CI/CD pipeline. Provide guidance to the development team for troubleshooting build issue.
  • Monitor CI/CD pipeline and its infrastructure to ensure availability and reliability. Triage and diagnosis of any infrastructure issue and quickly resolve.
  • Collaborate with Development IT to ensure the availability of critical software development infrastructure.



  • 7+ years of experience on software engineering services support and operations, build&release engineering, or development operations.
  • In-depth knowledge of Unix/Linux, both as end user and sysadmin.
  • Familiarity with the operation, various virtualization and cloud technology such as  Chef, Puppet, VMware, OpenStack, K8S, Docker, etc.
  • Solid experience in various infrastructure and tools used such as Jenkins, Git/GitHub, Artifactory, Gradle
  • Programming experience in at least one of the following languages: Java, bash, ruby, groovy, Perl, Python, GO.
  • Application development experience with JEE technologies and Web service is a huge plus but not required.
  • Familiarity with SQL programming, RDMS, and DBA experience is a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communications in English
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication skills, willingness for cross-team work and collaboration.
  • Public cloud experience (Azure, AWS etc) as a plus
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent education
