<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Within the SAP Global Security (SGS) organization the department Cyber Defense & Design supports secure infrastructure & application operations, as well as secure cloud development, in order to deliver secure services to our customers. Additionally, it is acting as the trusted partner & advisor for IT and data security matters and is handling Security Incidents.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As a key individual contributor role, the Senior Security Architect is responsible for defining security architecture requirements in the area of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) security, but also to provide guidance and consulting including for technical security measures to SAP’s internal IT & Cloud teams.

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">THE ROLE

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">As Senior Security Architect you will<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">:

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in the development of M&A security strategic plans and roadmaps
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in the development of M&A playbooks based on company security standards, procedures, and best-practices
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Collaborate with security team members to develop M&A security requirements <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">i<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">ncluding developing and<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">/<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">or modifying existing <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">standards<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">, procedures<span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif"> and <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">hardening guides to address M&A <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">security <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Collaborate with security team, business units, and corporate M&A teams on tailoring security requirements
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Coordinate security team members to conduct M&A security analysis
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Conduct analysis of alternative security architectures, tools, and methods
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Mentor junior staff members in day to day activities
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Assist in developing architectural strategies, roadmaps, and progress reports

 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">ROLE REQUIREMENTS 

<span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">        

  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Graduate in Computer Science or IT Security and/or equivalent Security Certifications like CISSP, CISA, CCSP or relevant SANS certifications
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Minimum of 5 additional years of experience in <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">IT <span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Security and/or Cybersecurity
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">10 years overall technology experience
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Hands on experience in M&A activities required
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Quick Learner, passionate, motivated and self-managed
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Profound ability to work in a virtual team environment with consistent success
  • <span style="font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><span style="font-family:"Arial",sans-serif">Strong innovative and critical thinker, with the drive and commitment to stay up to date on current technology, as well as industry best practices and procedures
