PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

As a Technical Security Consultant for the DTS team, you will architect complex solutions and integrate them with the business processes of SAP customers. As the global market leader for business software, SAP helps companies and organizations in more than 25 industries to run simple, run better, and run in real-time. The Technical Security Consultant for DTS's primary responsibility is for customer implementation, configuration, maintenance, and Best Practices for S/4HANA and Cloud solutions. The person selected for this role will provide transformational leadership in targeted and knowledge areas across SAP security technologies.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
- Ability to assist customer in designing security approach(es) for their SAP on premise and Cloud environment(s), including SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA.
- Familiarity with implementation and configuration of SAP Cloud Identity Access Governance (IAG).
- Familiarity with implementation and configuration SAP Identity Authentication (IAS), SAP Single Sign-on, SAML, X.509 certificates, SPNEGO, and / or Kerberos preferred.
- Familiarity with implementation and configuration of SAP Governance Risk Compliance (GRC), Access Control and Process Control.
- Ability to configure 3rd party Identity Providers (IdP) to operate with SAP security solutions is preferred
- Develop and modify Structured Query Language (SQL) queries
- Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve Security related problems
- Strong analytical, problem solving, solution design and programming skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to impart ideas in both technical and user-friendly language
- Ability to handle one or more projects simultaneously
- Ability to acquire new knowledge, adapt to and contribute to fast innovating software business
- Flexibility to travel is a must
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
- Required undergraduate university degree, preferably in information technologies or equivalent training and job experience
- BS/MS from a reputable school preferred
- Certification in SAP Basis and SAP Security preferred
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 5+ years working with SAP customers to define security requirements, approaches, and / or roadmaps
- 5+ years of SAP experience with SAP authorizations (including S/4HANA).
- 3+ years of Security and Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) solutions
- Cloud solution experience including IAG and IAS
- 2+ years leading internal and external customer expectations on assignment, resource requirements and / or deliverables

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 102,100-221,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
