Job Title: Senior Solution Sales Executive, SAP Intelligent Spend & Business Network (ISBN) - Enterprise High Growth Accounts - (East)

A Solution Sales Executive’s primary function is to work with Procurement and Supply Chain leadership in your target accounts to sell SAP Ariba & SAP Fieldglass Spend Management Cloud software, solutions and related services. The account base is focused primarily on Enterprise High Growth Accounts across many industries.  

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, selling, and closing software revenue for new Enterprise High Growth Accounts.

Drive proactive outbound campaign activity into Net New / Install Based contacts

Adopt and deploy the latest marketing tools, tailor made for the digital age Employ creative Digital and social selling skills
Build relationships with key executives and decision makers within assigned accounts
Form strategic account plans including customer profiles, targeted programs, application descriptions, forecast reports, and action items Develop and maintain technical and marketing knowledge of the entire SAP Intelligent Spend Management product line.
Develop, share and maintain an in-depth knowledge of all key competitors.
Interact with the current sales organization and all other SAP ISBN Colleagues in pursuit of overall customer satisfaction.
Assume full responsibility of quota attainment as agreed to and communicated by the Sales Vice President.
Participation and involvement in applicable industry conferences both internal and external
Maintain CRM system with accurate customer and pipeline information
All other duties as assigned
 

 

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in Supply Chain projects or Procurement projects in customer facing roles in either consulting or sales.

Experience with Demand Generation utilizing the latest digital and social selling capabilities

Proficiency with large volume territories requiring prioritization and a multi-faceted approach leveraging and managing the efforts of internal resources and an extended partner ecosystem
Past software sales experience in the following areas including Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sourcing/Contracts, Finance/AP, Services Procurement or ERP
Exceptional presentation skills required Strong problem solving and analytical skill required
The Ability to build relationships and quickly develop trust with C-Level executives
Highly professional written and oral communication skills required
Ability to work effectively in a sales team environment
University degree preferred
 

Basic Minimum Qualifications

Strong business acumen

Minimum of five years’ experience of successful enterprise software sales along with a strong history of quota attainment required

Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 180,500 - 383,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
