PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
The Global Center of Expertise (CoE) is a division of SAP Customer Success delivery unit. Our mission is to deliver world-class engineering services to support SAP’s strategical customers.
Premium Hub CoE provides premium services to SAP’s largest customers operating on the most complex SAP landscapes. They interact with individuals at every level of the customer’s organization, from subject matter experts to executives, in order to meet the customer’s needs. CoE is a demanding role that requires passionate individuals with the strongest technical expertise and excellent analytical and communication skills. In this role, you will be tasked with planning, architecting, analyzing, optimizing, prototyping, and safeguarding our customers’ SAP solutions. You will provide essential services and mission critical support to help SAP customers realize their digital transformation agenda and ensure business continuity during solution implementations. You will also oversee the smooth operation of SAP software and the optimal technical performance of all business processes.
EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS:
Since you will be working directly with SAP’s largest SAP Business Technology Platform & S/4HANA customers, we are looking for candidates with:
1. Strong development experience in SAP Business Technology Platform with excellent working knowledge on following:
- Cloud Application Programming Model, RESTful ABAP Programming Model
- Integration & Orchestration: Connectivity, Cloud Integration, API Management, Workflow, Business Rules
- Security: Authorization & Trust Management, Identity Authentication & Provisioning
- Dev Ops: Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
2. Strong expertise in the Integration territory with focus on the cloud/hybrid environment:
- Integration Technology: ALE/IDocs/RFC/Web Services/REST/oData, Process Integration/Orchestration, SAP Integration Suite, etc.
- SaaS Integration: integration with SAP and/or non-SAP cloud applications leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform
- Strong understanding of Enterprise Integration Patterns, SOA, REST/OData APIs
3. Draw on your deep knowledge in SAP Business Technology Platform to guide customers in architecture, solution design, best practice, and handle critical issue resolution, etc
5. Development experience working with ABAP and S/4HANA know-how are a plus.
4. Openness towards new emerging technologies with a 'Can Do' attitude
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
WORK EXPERIENCE
• More than 5 years of development experience & preferably around 3 years in SAP Business Technology Platform
• Strong development experience in Java, Node.js, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP UI5, Groovy, etc
• ABAP development experience in SAP ERP or S/4HANA
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
• Graduated with a Bachelor Degree or above in IT/ Computer Science/ Physics/Mathematics/Engineering or related discipline
• Excellent customer focus, teamwork and adaptability
• Fluency written and spoken English

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 102,100 - 221,700 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
