Key Responsibilities
• Deliver executive-level, value-driven presentations on SAP Tax, Trade, and Billing & Revenue Management solutions, aligning capabilities with CFO, Tax, Trade, and Revenue leadership priorities and clearly differentiating SAP in competitive scenarios.
• Lead discovery and solution workshops to understand customer challenges across indirect tax, global trade compliance, billing, and revenue recognition, translating requirements into SAP best-practice solution positioning supported by relevant proof points.
• Provide strategic deal and pipeline support for priority opportunities, positioning SAP Tax, Trade, and Billing solutions as core components of the Office of CFO portfolio.
• Act as a trusted advisor and domain expert for Tax, Trade, and/or Billing & Revenue Management, supporting sales teams and partners with solution guidance, value messaging, and competitive differentiation.
• Drive enablement and collaboration with regional, global, and partner teams to scale Tax, Trade, and Billing sales plays and accelerate adoption of SAP best practices.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Finance and Order-to-Cash processes, with deep expertise (L3/L4 level) in one or more of the following solution areas:
Tax & Trade Solutions
· SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC)
· SAP Advanced Compliance Reporting (ACR)
· Indirect tax determination (VAT, GST, Sales & Use Tax)
· E-invoicing and real-time reporting mandates
· SAP Global Trade Services (GTS) – customs management, trade compliance, embargo and sanction screening
· Cross-border trade and customs processes
Billing & Revenue Management Solutions
· SAP Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)
· High-volume and complex billing scenarios (usage-based, subscription, and event-based billing)
· Contract accounts receivable and payable (FI-CA)
· Revenue recognition and compliance with IFRS 15 / ASC 606
· Integration of billing with SAP S/4HANA Finance and Order-to-Cash processes
• Solid understanding of end-to-end compliance, billing, and revenue processes, including regulatory reporting, audit readiness, and financial controls.
• Knowledge of global tax regulations, trade compliance requirements, and revenue accounting standards, and their impact on enterprise systems.
• Good overall solution understanding of SAP’s Office of CFO portfolio, with strong appreciation of upstream and downstream process integration.
• Ability to operate effectively in a complex matrix organization and virtual, cross-regional teams.
• Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel (40%–50%).
• Hands-on consulting or implementation experience in SAP Tax (DRC/ACR), Trade (GTS), and/or Billing & Revenue Management (BRIM, FI-CA) is a strong advantage.
Experience
• 12+ years of experience in the SAP domain, with a minimum of 3–5 years specializing in Tax, Trade, and/or Billing & Revenue Management, preferably within a large multinational software, consulting, or technology organization.
• Prior experience working closely with tax, trade compliance, billing, revenue, or finance teams is a strong advantage.
• Experience supporting multi-country, multi-currency, and high-volume transaction environments is highly desirable.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, or Law; Chartered Accountant (CA), CPA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
