Purpose & Objectives:

The Global Early Talent Acquisition's mission is to identify, attract, select, hire, and onboard excellent talent in support of SAP's strategic goals. Expectations, Tasks and Deliverables

The Early Career Talent Recruitment Consultant needs to be able to act as a talent advisor for the recruiting processes, programs, and requisitions for students, interns and graduates. Additionally, it is their responsibility to take ownership of the events and engagement strategy to manage the student, interns, and graduate talent journey.


Key Areas of Responsibility and Tasks

Build and agree with hiring manager an end to end recruiting plan that includes:


  • Understand and manage full life cycle recruiting processes for local or remote positions as per local team’s demand
  • Act as talent advisor and provide a consultative approach to hiring manager and business stakeholder showcasing data, trends, and talent and competitive intelligence.
  • Conduct intake sessions with Hiring Managers to align profile and recruiting process
  • Proficient in applicant tracking system/ tools such as RCM, CRM, MyAlly, assessments, and IDEAL where applicable; well-versed in LinkedIn and other sourcing platforms
  • Help create and build solid candidate pipeline, pre-screen CVs, phone screen candidates, extend verbal job offers, and process formal offers according to internal process with accurate data capture abilities and timely reporting
  • Familiarity with local student, internship and/or graduate hiring policies, regulations, best practices with keen understanding of the various intern and Early Talent hiring programs and offerings
  • Strong business acumen for the businesses being supported, understanding the skills best suited for a successful hire on that team
  • Target suitable candidates that best align the business and program for success; being mindful of diversity hiring goals and skill gaps in the business
  • Comfortable thinking outside of the box to source and hire for hard to find roles, practice innovative solutions
  • Organize and participate in local events (career fairs, lectures, webinars, on-site events, etc.) with a focus on long-term engagement, target universities, diverse candidates, and innovative collaboration
  • Advise and work closely aligned with HRBPs and HR Advisors; Market Unit Heads; Total Rewards, TA Branding; University Alliances, Diversity & Inclusion and Recruiting Operations




Qualifications & Language Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree/ University degree
  • 3-5 years’ experience in end-to-end Recruiting or Headhunting
  • Experience in recruitment as well as practical experience in HR, ideally gained in a multinational matrixed organization preferably in a shared service or business process outsourcing environment.
  • Experience in University/Internship/Graduate Recruitment is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written, with natural ease in building sustainable relationships across various corporate functions locally and internationally
  • Excellent active listening skills
  • Strong stakeholder management with the ability to influence the business
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills – able to effectively communicate ideas to internal and external partners of various backgrounds and levels
  • Collaboration skills – able to effectively work with others of diverse roles, levels, and backgrounds
