About the Program 

SAP’s Returnship Program is a 20 week paid returnship targeting mid-career professionals who've taken a 2+ year career break for caregiving, relocation or military service. Since 2018, SAP has offered a structured returnship program because we appreciate the skills you offer, the perspective you provide, and the contributions you will make.

About the Role

Responsibilities & Objectives:

  • Lead complex partner engagements virtually or in person to assess strategic objectives, identify partnership potential, facilitate use case ideation, prepare value positioning and present executive-level justification for partner GTM.
  • Support the development of the BTP Monetization practice in the partner channel with the creation and standardization of sales messaging, tools, processes, and templates 
  • Develop relevant sales content for the partner segment and enable BTP Monetization Managers to execute the BTP Journey from Discovery to Monetization and beyond.
  • Successfully pitch BTP Monetization engagements to partners and potential partners
  • Contribute to BTP Monetization strategy discussions in a meaningful fashion
  • Support targeted demand generation campaigns
  • Customize sales content in collaboration with the global BTP partner strategy for our internal and external target groups spanning from customer success stories to thought leadership pieces
  • Develop content for and lead internal sales enablement meetings across PES and regional market units
  • Always ready to present & articulate value messaging to both internal SAP Executives as well as Customer & Partner Executives.


What You Bring


Key Attributes:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience preferred either as a practitioner, management consultant, or an operational consultant.
  • Must be a creative storyteller.
  • Considered an excellent ally within the sales organization
  • Ability to work independently in an ambiguous environment
  • Aptitude for analytical and creative thinking.
  • Proficient speaker comfortable interacting with customers one to one and / or one to many scenarios.
  • Possess a strong executive presence.
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal (both internally and externally).
  • Proven ability to get things done in a matrix environment with resources belonging to other teams and / or regions.


Qualifications, Education and Preferred Skills:

  • Executive presence demonstrated by excellent and energetic public speaking skills.
  • Proven CXO engagement skills.
  • Ability to produce storylines and high-quality presentations in PowerPoint with a very keen eye for detail.
  • Comfortable with doing financial analysis in excel spreadsheets.
  • Calm under pressure of sales environments.
  • Product marketing acumen (segment, target, content, lead strategy).
  • Positive, Motivated, Self-starter with a can-do attitude
  • Advanced degree or relevant work experience

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role.
