We are looking for a passionate, highly motivated, and experienced Senior Developers to join our team. The potential candidate would work closely with other members of the team and other functional groups within Sales & Service Solutions as a whole. The role demands technical expertise in software development using microservices, Java/Spring boot, building REST APIs, event driven architecture, working with database, UI web component development using Angular and handling production issues and complex requirements for customers.

Key Responsibilities:

As a developer in the Service Cloud team, the primary responsibility will be to develop product features within the Service portfolio and to help the team deliver services on the cloud native stack on a continuous basis.

You will work with a highly motivated and talented set of colleagues. You will:

· Be a motivated, self-starter who can operate with minimal handholding.

· Need good technical skills and an aptitude for translating business requirements into technical solutions.

· Design, code, test and assure quality of complex product features within our Customer Experience & Service portfolio.

· Need a can-do attitude and the ability to align with colleagues in different time-zones and development areas.

Qualifications:

· 2-4 years of software engineering experience with most exposure in building products on the cloud native stack.

· Sound knowledge of Computer Science areas and fundamentals

· Proficiency in Java. Exposure to Spring Boot would be an added advantage.

· Knowledge of other programming languages like JavaScript would be a plus.

· Experience working with Git and CI/CD.

· Experience in developing, debugging and deploying software on enterprise scale.

· Experience writing production quality code.

· Expertise working with any of SQL databases. Exposure to NoSQL is a plus but not necessary.

· Exposure to event messaging and streaming services like Kafka would be an added advantage.

· Good Team player and Good Communication skills.

· Experience in tools such as JIRA for bugs.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 128,000 - 218,000(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
