About the Program 


SAP’s Returnship Program is a 20-week paid returnship targeting mid-career professionals who’ve taken a 2+ year career break for caregiving, relocation, or military service. Since 2018, SAP has offered a structured returnship program because we appreciate the skills you offer, the perspective you provide, and the contributions you will make.    


Who are you  


As part of SAP’s Returnship program, we are looking for a Portfolio Manager who will be responsible for SAP Globalization Services portfolio planning and reporting. You will at least a 5-year successful professional experience in the software industry in global and virtual teams, preferably as part of a business operation function.  

What you’ll do 


In this role as a Portfolio Manager, you will be driving business case creation, monitoring, and reporting. You will be Organizing SAP Globalization Services portfolio workshops. In your day to day, you will be:  

  • Streamlining the portfolio process and tools across products and regions in SAP Globalization Services 

  • Building strong interaction across SAP Globalization Services teams as well as with internal and external stakeholders 

What you bring:  


  • Proven track record in senior management support and C Level executive communication 

  • Professional with academic education BA or higher in Business. MBA or similar degree 

  • Outcome/result-oriented, with a strong sense of accountability and ownership 

  • Ability to deliver quality work under time constrains 

  • Strong can-do attitude and growth mindset 

  • Excellent organization and networking skills 

  • Good English language proficiency (verbal and written) 

  • You are keenly aware of basic portfolio management processes and best practices  

  • You are interested to get a 360 degrees overview of operations management 

  • You are a strong team player and go the extra-mile in support of your team 

  • You are willing to learn and stretch yourself
