What you’ll do:
Position title: SAP iXp Intern – UX Research & Design
Location: Palo Alto, CA / Hybrid
Expected start date: March 2025
We’re currently looking for a highly skilled UX Researcher and Designer to join our Innovation team.
In this role you will help design prototypes that demonstrate our UX concepts and conduct research to help answer questions about the design, usability, and feasibility of our ideas.
Tasks will involve:
• Designing user studies both qualitative and quantitative
• Writing questionnaires
• Planning quick turn-around impactful studies
• Work well with incomplete information
• Summarizing results in both PPT decks and high level reports for management and cross-group teams
• Bring related research to our attention
You must be an effective communicator, quick to learn new tools and systems, and flexible in the face of change.
What you bring:
We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Education: Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science, UX/UI or a related field.
- Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.
- Experience collaborating with UX, Product, marketing, and software partners.
- Experience conducting UX research including both quantitative and qualitative methods
- Experience determining the appropriate UX research method for a given situation
- UX ideation, refinement, and iteration on prototype
- Experience using design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe creative suite, etc. to then build more substantial prototypes
- Understanding use of rapid prototyping
- Be a team player and be able to present ideas clearly to the group

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the hourly base salary rate range applicable for the posted role. The targeted range for this position is 15 - 62SAP North America Benefits.
USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidates will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. SAP offers limited benefits for employees hired into hourly or like roles subject to appliable plan/policy terms.
