Purpose and Objective:  
Ariba Inc. seeks a Senior DevOps Engineer at our Palo Alto, CA location responsible for collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Cloud Operations colleagues to build CI/CD tools and applications. 


Expectations and Tasks: 
Design and develop tools and applications to improve the efficiency of our Development and Cloud Operations colleagues. Provide production and development support for the CI/CD tools and applications. Contribute to code reviews, design reviews & technical presentations. Participate in all the required scrum meetings. Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree Computer Science, Engineering, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience. 


Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 4 years in the following: Kubernetes Administration, Designing & deploying Kubernetes applications and Docker; Ansible; Jenkins; Shell Scripting; and Python. Experience must also include: Java - provide guidance to application teams to Design & develop J2EE applications which can run as containers.
