What you'll do
The Senior Hyperscaler Partner & Supplier Manager (f/m/d) on the Strategic Partner Engagement (SPE) Team at SAP is a role that measures and mirrors operational performance on an aggregated level, involves identifying and cultivating new partnership opportunities, negotiating partnership agreements, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of joint initiatives.
The Senior Hyperscaler Partner / Supplier Manager (f/m/d) also works to engage and support partners in leveraging SAP's technology and solutions to deliver value to customers and achieve strategic business objectives. Additionally, they are responsible for driving partner enablement and ensuring alignment with SAP's overall partner strategy.
You will be responsible for:
- Support managing the strategic SAP Hyperscaler Partner in all vendor lifecycle related topics
- Drive the day-to-day supplier relationship management lifecycle and take accountability of managing one global Partner to ensure service delivery aligned to contract
- Evolve and develop the partner/supplier portfolio and the needed governance/account management setup
- Translate, understand, summarize and consolidate long term SAP demand, budget planning and specific SAP Lines of Businesses requirements
- Owner of the cost, efficiency and performance of respective suppliers including relevant market check / benchmarking of all services
- Support supplier negotiations, jointly with Global Purchasing Organization (GPO), driven with business analysis evolve partnership also under adverse circumstances
- Work with our sales and market units to define a suitable partner play to cover specific markets, driving SAP Board Areas future strategic partner roadmap + strategic ecosystem
What you bring
- 7-10 years of related professional experience
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
- Strong affinity for networking and building lasting relationships with partners / suppilers
- Some Experience or touchpoints of managing a vendor service relationship
- Understanding and interest of cloud infrastructure and service models
- Some experience in purchasing services
- Project/Program management skill in international and global initiatives
- Ability to challenge status quo with strong analytical skills

The Strategic Partner Engagement (SPE) Team at SAP is a group of professionals responsible for actively steering and managing supplier relationships with strategic external IT organizations. The SPE team works closely with SAP key strategic partners to align and develop business objectives, drive joint innovation, and create win/win opportunities.
Although focus is on the “we buy from” aspects, the target is to establish, maintain a very close relationship which enables either side to understand what exactly the key parameters for a potential “win” are, not necessarily only the commercial aspects. In this team, all infrastructure categories are represented and daily experience, lessons learned and most important an efficient methodology is shared amongst the colleagues to enhance and professionalize your skills on modern cloud partnering.

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 128,600 - 266,300SAP North America Benefits.
USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
