What you'll do:
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development of multiple services from the ground up within the SAP Business Network; you will be involved in all stages of the product development and deployment lifecycle: idea generation, planning, design, prototyping, execution, shipping, and iteration. You are a problem solver, regardless of which frameworks you use or how you learned them; we’re looking for people who can write clean, effective code.
You will work closely with the team architect and product manager, taking complex product roadmap features, breaking them down into their required technical components, and developing them independently.
You will tirelessly advocate for best practices and quality to create scalable microservices with a keen sense of pragmatism and a hand-in-glove approach to working with your product lead.
What you bring:
- Collaborate with team leaders to create commercial software.
- Work autonomously to analyze, research, and solve production issues, customer requests, and inquiries while escalating appropriately.
- Assess the severity and scope of problems, maintaining accountability until they are resolved.
- Efficiently organizes and addresses multiple production issues and customer requests from several sources, delegating when and if appropriate.
- Deep knowledge of design patterns and data structures.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in coding web-based applications. A Microservices experience is a plus.
- Experience in building web APIs and API-first design principles. E.g., Swagger, GraphQL, and REST API
- Skilled in using development tools like GitHub, Jenkins, Selenium, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Puppet, and Chef.
- Mastery of Core Java and web service development.
- Experience with modern front-end technology stacks (e.g., React and VueJS) along with proficiency in the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Good understanding of deployment environments, configuration of applications, and change management principles.
- Familiarity with at least one relational database management system.
- Agile development experience using version control platforms like Git, GitHub, or GitLab.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong team collaboration and communication skills.
- Experience in tools such as JIRA for bugs.

The targeted combined range for this position is 101300 - 172200(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process.
