The Strategic Pursuit Architect is responsible for supporting our customer’s transformation strategy through the pursuit and on-going support of cloud, on-premise or hybrid implementation initiatives. The Strategic Pursuit Architect has the qualifications and business acumen to support large scale, high risk, strategic projects and pursuits that span organizational boundaries including multiple business units and service partners/vendors. They provide leadership to cross-functional delivery and sales teams and is responsible for the success of assigned projects by ensuring adherence to SAP’s Activate project management methodology and best business practices.
Pursuit Architect Responsibilities :
- Facilitate collaborative architecture discussions with our customers executives
- Work effectively across multiple functions and teams to define clear requirements to achieve business outcomes
- Guide customer teams in using Enterprise Architecture frameworks, establishing governance models
- Develop strategic and tactical roadmaps for the full transition of the customer’s solution landscape
- Design target integration and technical architecture, deployment models as well as transition scenarios
- Leverage industry and SAP reference architectures and enterprise architecture frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement of the pursuit fulfilment process
- Builds credibility / trust with Strategic & Value Account customers in solution support solution implementation phase.
- Support all Sales and Delivery Leaders and Management throughout the solutioning and pursuit fulfilment process
- Provide insights and reports about status and performance of solutioning and pursuit fulfilment process to leadership
Business Development Lead Responsibilities :
- Planning and executing Demand Generation activities with Market Unit Demand managers and solution areas.
- Trusted advisor - Establishes strong relationships based on knowledge of customer requirements and commitment to value
- Participates in customer presentations and meetings as appropriate to ensure closure of business opportunities.
- Build strong internal relationships with license/cloud sales, alliance partners, services delivery, and product management.
- Identifying, exploring, and evaluating business opportunities with a strong revenue target in mind
- Conduct account and opportunity reviews with leadership
- Understand SAP's competition and effectively position solutions against them.
Skills and Experience
- Highly skilled individual who is able to provide optimal solutions for customers during Services pursuits and across implementation cycles of a project
- Managing and delivering End-to-End solutioning of S/4HANA conversions and RISE transformations with SAP
- Able to engage face-to-face with our customers to provide effective and efficient solutions during complex Services pursuits

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 171300 - 291200(USD) USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
