We are looking for a Cloud Developer OR a DevOps Engineer to join our team.

About the team

Our team, under T&I board area, creates the latest products/services in the SAP BTP Platform. We try to use the latest Cloud technology trends, working methods and mindset. We aim to bring the next level of technology innovation to our customers. 

We are a very experienced team, we always help each other, love to bring in new people to share with us the passion of developing and creating quality software.

The project

You will help build one of BTP’s main services. BTP is the SAP Business Technology Platform, more information here. The service adopts a microservice architecture and has the requirements of a typical major cloud service/application: high availability (>99%), performance, scalability and security. Is also deployed all around the world in AWS, GCP and Azure.

What you’ll do:

• Help develop, build and maintain a complex BTP Cloud Service that has high requirements in terms of performance, availability, scalability and security
• You can either focus on coding or more devops or both! (we have the flexibility)
• Learn: continue your career by learning new technologies and improve your current skills
• Learn what it takes to run a global, high performance, cloud service
• Be part of the team: party up with a highly skilled engineer team and work/learn with some of the best engineers in the software industry
• Be part of product development at SAP, where we build and deploy the next generation of SAP products

What you’ll bring:

• Love for software development/deployment and learning
• For the Developer role: Java experience or similar programming languages
• For the Devops role: CI/CD tools knowledge  (eg: Jenkins, Concourse, GitActions, Terraform, etc…)
• Git knowledge
• Containerization knowledge (Kubernetes, Docker) is beneficial
• Ability to speak and write English fluently is mandatory
