PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

 

The Office Technology Team (OTX) is a regional field IT organization that also serves as a global provider for IT Infrastructure Services, specializing in meeting room and office buildouts. Our mission is to ensure rock-solid operations for the services in scope across the globe through a combination of Managed Service and internal experts.

We are actively seeking a Global Meeting Room Technology Specialist to enrich our diverse and talented team. This role is pivotal in maintaining and advancing our meeting room technologies across a vast network of 6,000 global meeting spaces.

This role offers a fantastic opportunity to join a unique global team that is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion whilst developing skills in project management, operational management, and other areas of IT.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILTIES

 

  • Participate in the assessment, testing, and implementation of innovative meeting room technologies on a global scale.
  • Manage the deployment and operational excellence of AV equipment, ensuring a consistent and high-quality experience in all meeting rooms.
  • Collaborate with international teams to align technology standards and practices, fostering a unified approach to global communication.
  • Provide expert-level support and training to ensure all team members can effectively utilize meeting room technologies.
  • Develop and document standardized processes for meeting room technology management, troubleshooting, and support. Maintain clear and accessible process documentation for the team’s reference.
  • Generate and maintain reports related to meeting room technology performance, usage, and trends. Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis.
  • Create clear and user-friendly guides for meeting room technology usage, troubleshooting, and best practices. Ensure that end users have access to comprehensive documentation to enhance their experience.
  • Monitor the technology in meeting rooms, including audiovisual equipment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred).

 

  • Experience:
    • Over 2 years in AV/Meeting Rooms equipment.
    • Over 3 years in second-level IT support or technical implementation roles.
    • Project Management Experience.
    • Proficient in IT asset management systems, showcasing a robust skill set with relevant tools and processes.
    • Demonstrated experience in a global setting.

 

  • Skills:
    • Technical expertise in audiovisual equipment.
    • Certification in audiovisual technology (desirable).
    • Certification in project management (desirable).
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Clear communication and interpersonal aptitude.
    • Proficiency in Windows, MacOS, iOS, Android, SharePoint, Office 365, Power BI, Teams, and Power Platforms.
    • General IT knowledge with strong troubleshooting skills.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Ability to work independently and collaborate globally.
