What you’ll do

• Lead the process of moving applications from development to production and make sure our products run smoothly in production.

• Oversee setting up tools that will empower teams to release and maintain applications autonomously.

• Analyze and harden existing infrastructure, monitoring capabilities and CI/CD processes.

• Plan, install, and deploy highly-availability solutions in public cloud.

• Work on infrastructure as code and ensure teams have the environments, deployment pipelines, and tools necessary to be efficient, e.g., automate processes for environment setup, deployments, monitoring and debugging, etc.

What you bring

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or equivalent experience.

• Programming experience in an industry standard language such as Java, Scala, Go, Python, C/C++, JavaScript...

• Strong relevant work experience in software development, site reliability engineering, DevOps, quality assurance, or similar.

• Experience with public cloud infrastructure such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Experience with Kubernetes.

• Experience with cloud technologies such as Docker, Ansible, Prometheus, Grafana...

• Experience with release tools such as Jenkins, Docker, Maven, GIT, and artifact repositories (Artifactory, Nexus).

• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases

• Know-how in networking (DNS/TCP/IP) and Linux.

• Eagerness to learn new technologies and dig into the technical details of a system.

• Fluency both written and spoken in English

Furthermore, preferred skills are:

• Experience in Big Data, Data-intensive applications, Distributed Systems.

• Experience with Kafka

• Experience with PostgreSQL
