What you'll do


You are looking for creative challenges in a corporate context? As a member of the BTP Foundational Plane Communications team, you will be exposed to highly skilled colleagues in the areas of Operations, Communications, Design and Cloud Development. Driving integrated communications and employee engagement, we may ask you to: 

  • Produce internal assets across a variety of formats, including but not limited to: presentations, graphic designs, banners, simple prototypes, newsletters
  • Collaborate within a cross-functional team to translate complex tech matters into simple yet stunning visuals to convey the capabilities of our products
  • Bring ideas to life, using your different creative skills and technical know-how to solve creative challenges to ideate and design best-in-class experiences across a wide range of digital media
  • Support our internal podcast production process to share our experts’ knowledge and strategic messages with our colleagues
  • Encourage effective teamwork by providing support, and creating a climate of collaboration, constructive feedback & trust

We’re looking for candidates (f/m/d) who can work with us for at least one year for 15 - 20 hours/week on average (we can be flexible around exams, semester breaks etc.) 


What you bring


We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful projects and are energized by lifelong learning.

  • Digital enthusiast - Eager to create across a variety of media and learn new tools. You have good knowledge of visual design software (Adobe Creative suite, Figma or alike software). Great PowerPoint skills and knowledge of UX/UI are plus
  • Problem-Solver - Demonstrates creativity when facing problems. Proven ability to turn complex concepts into simple, understandable, and well-designed visuals
  • Creative-thinker – Ability to approach challenges, reframe them into possibilities and come up with new, fresh and sometimes unexpected ideas
  • Strong communicator - Enjoys collaboration across disciplines and is passionate about shaping creative ideas as well as turn them into realities
  • Strong team player - Communicates and collaborates across the organization and is willing to work both collaboratively and autonomously on multiple projects simultaneously and effectively


  • Currently pursuing a degree on media, visual communication, graphic design, multimedia production or similar program
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a must. Knowledge of German/French is a plus.


Meet your team


BTP Foundational Plane is a software development unit within SAP’s board area “Technology & Innovation”. The unit consists of more than 1,000 colleagues located across the globe. It creates a common baseline of reusable services for SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) as well as an open approach to growing an organic ecosystem of services.  We are a virtual team of communication experience experts, who support our people managers with maximizing communication success, and by formulating clear messaging and leveraging suitable channels & interactive formats. 


Your set of application documents should contain a cover letter, a resume in table form, school leaving certificates, certificate of enrollment, current university transcript of records, copies of any academic degrees already earned, and if available, references from former employers (including internships). Please also describe your experience and skills in foreign languages and computer programs / programming languages.
