The Global Finance Shared Services (GFSS) belongs to one of the main pillars of Global Finance which is Global Finance Infrastructure. GFSS environment allows SAP to maximize the efficiency and effectiveness as well as quality of the Finance processes while delivering global end to end process standards.

 

Within GFSS, the Cash Collections Team is responsible to drive SAP’s market capitalization by providing best-in-class cash collections services and pursuing answers to customers' problems that lead to timely and accurate payments. Our focus is to reduce the collections cycle (DSO – Days Sales Outstanding) to improve the free cash flow of SAP. In order to achieve such a goal, the Cash Collections Team has several tools and standardized processes.

 

The Cash Collections Team has a very close contact with customers (internal & external): End-Customers & Partners Ecosystem, Sales, Office of CFO, Marketing, Accounting, Controlling, Accounts Payable, Record2Report and other key stakeholders within the organization. The department maintains a strong focus on customer experience, in order to do this, will engage with other relevant departments within the company to resolve problems, drive automation and enablement’s. It provides timely and relevant reporting and supporting projects.

 

The New Regional Expert Team executes operational (including transactional) tasks to support operations beyond its own area of responsibility, including more specialized activities that are performed to meet accounting and financial reporting requirements that result from legal obligations or SAP internal global policies. The Cash Collections Specialist has additional responsibilities and broad knowledge of standard processes and related transactions, or special knowledge and specific areas.

 

SKILLS

  • Accounting background preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Detail oriented, organized and solution focus.
  • Proactive and social personality. Ability to work in Team.
  • Problem solving and positive attitude as "yes we can".
  • Strong knowledge of SAP systems and tools.
  • Ability to deal with pressure and deliver fast results. Goal oriented.
  • Customer experience is a plus as will be in touch with external and internal stakeholders.

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working within a finance related field (5 - 10 years).
  • Working experience within a Shared Service Center is advantage 

 

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor or Master’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Economics or related.
  • Fluent written and spoken English skills.
