Finance Associate - Royalty Management (limited part-time)

What you’ll do:

As a member of the Royalty Management team, you will be centered in the heart of SAP’s Inbound Licensing organization, participating in a defined finance project.
This will allow you to start your finance profession in a dynamic environment, while gaining relevant work experience that can serve as a strong foundation to develop your future career at SAP.
By participating in this project, you will have the opportunity to acquire valuable skills and gain knowledge on different finance processes, which will help you to accelerate your understanding on corporate finance.
Additionally, you will be able to learn more about the core Royalty Management process at SAP. 
The position is paid.

The tasks of the project include, but are not limited to:

  • Review & analysis of commercial documents & order packs
  • Evaluation & comparison of customer transactions versus royalty transactions
  • Cross-check analysis of historic system entries
  • Business partnering with various internal stakeholders

What you bring:

  • Suitable for student at a university or university of applied sciences of business administration, business information systems or adjacent disciplines
  • Fluent English (both written & verbal)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office products (e.g., Excel, Outlook)
  • Team player, analytical and process-oriented thinking pattern with good communication skills
  • Pronounced quality awareness, preciseness and ability to work independently
  • Time management skills

In the Global Licensing & Royalty Management (GL&RM) organization, the Royalty Management team is responsible for the administration of third-party royalty transactions of all SAP entities worldwide.
In order to assure smooth and seamless operations, the team delivers the best quality of services 
to various external and internal stakeholders such as Third-Party Licensors, Partner Management, Controlling and other Lines of Business (e.g., Global Pricing, Solution Owners, 
Process Management, IT) and cooperates with multiple neighboring finance processes 
(e.g., Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Invoice Cloud, Software & Support).
