What you’ll do
We are currently in the process of hiring for the Local Accounting and Reporting Support Team (LAR Support) within Local Statutory Reporting (LSR) which is part of the Local Accounting and Reporting (LAR) organization.
LAR Support Team is responsible for supporting the preparation of local statutory financial statements of SAP subsidiaries worldwide, supporting the independent audit related tasks and other projects within the LAR organization.
In this role, you will:
- support the preparation of the statutory financial statements.
- provide assistance with the daily administrative duties associated with the independent audit.
- contribute to the automation processes for the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- support the maintenance of the local chart of accounts.
- support the Head of Local Statutory Reporting and the Head of Local Accounting and Reporting in project management tasks.

What you bring
In this paid role we’re looking for someone who takes initiative, perseveres, and stays curious. You like to work on meaningful innovative projects and are energized by lifelong learning.
- Student at a university or university of applied sciences with good grades in finance, accounting, tax, or business administration.
- Academic knowledge or previous experience in financial accounting, financial statements, financial reporting, basic accounting, advanced accounting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), corporate finance, actuarial accounting, advanced mathematics, financial and bank mathematics, business valuations, mergers and acquisitions.
- Experienced Microsoft Office user, especially Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Fluency in English, other foreign languages are a plus.
- Highly motivated team player with good communication skills.
- Ability to work in international teams and in a virtual environment.
- Interest in participating in projects.

The Local Accounting and Reporting Support Team (LAR Support) is within the Local Statutory Reporting Team (LSR) which is part of the Local Accounting and Reporting (LAR) organization. LAR organization oversees the financial accounting and financial reporting of SAP subsidiaries worldwide and is an international organization with colleagues from every corner of the world.
The LAR organization is part of SAP’s Corporate Financial Reporting department under the leadership of SAP’s Chief Accounting Officer.
