PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Royalty Management team members are experienced finance professionals that are responsible for the administration of third-party royalties under Inbound Licensing agreements.
In order to assure smooth and seamless operations, the team delivers the best quality of services to various external and internal stakeholders such as Third-Party Licensors, Global Licensing, Controlling, other Lines of Business (e.g., Partner Management, Global Pricing, Product Owners, Process Management, IT) and cooperates with multiple work-streams (e.g. Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Invoice Cloud, Software & Support).
WHAT YOU´LL DO
As a member of the Royalty Management team, you will be able to accelerate your finance profession to the next level by focusing on the dedicated process group that you would be assigned to, while expanding your expertise on strategic key elements of SAP’s finance structure.
As a Royalty Finance Specialist, your core activities will surround:
- Royalty administration of third-party licensing agreements and SAP end user licensing agreements with respect to third party products across the SAP Group (SAP branded, Vendor branded/SolEx, and Original Equipment Manufacturing (OEM)).
- Review, calculation & reporting of third-party royalty fees arising from SAP reselling third party intellectual property (IP), based on aforementioned agreements.
- Administer and handle Special Bid Offers (SBO) and/or Customer Third Party Offerings (CTPO).
- Serve as a stakeholder for internal and external financial audits.
- Ensure high quality and compliance standards.
- Support End-to-End process improvements and initiatives.
On top of that, supplemental tasks within the role do contain:
- Support of organizational development initiatives (e.g., process (re-)design, system improvements).
- Participation in cross-organizational projects.
- Reconciliation of historical records.

WHAT YOU BRING
- Good understanding of Quote-to-Cash process.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP FI module would be a big plus.
- Strong analytical skills to drive root cause analysis for complex problems.
- High service attitude with strong focus on compliance.
- Flexible team player; able to deal with transition and change.
- Strong ability to work independently.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal).
WORK EXPERIENCE
- 4+ years of practical experience in Quote-to-Cash process or any other finance related field e.g., Commercial Finance, Order-to-Invoice, Revenue Accounting etc.
