SUMMARY
The primary function of the SAP Ariba Support Engineer is to provide dependable and timely resolution for complex software issues related Ariba solutions. The Technical Support Engineer must possess a strong focus on customer service and communication resulting in an exceptional user experience and utilize knowledge interfaces with 3rd party vendors and internal technical teams to drive issues to resolution. 


THE ROLE: 
•    Provides solutions to technical issues impacting customers’ business processes and their ability to conduct commerce through SAP Ariba applications.
•    Reports errors and code defects to development organizations; collaborates to prioritize fixes and validate solutions. Participates in de-escalation plans and situation war rooms to resolve critical product issues impacting  customer business operations.
•    Build partnerships with customers to proactively deliver expertise and improve customer value of SAP Ariba solutions
•    Communicate via phone and email to customers and Provide on-call support during weekends as required by a rotational schedule. 


ROLE REQUIREMENTS
•    Experience in Support, Software Development, IT, or Quality Assurance
•    Experience with one or more of the following:
o    ABAP debugging
o    Experience in SAP ERP (IDOC, RFC), SAP PI.
o    Fiddler r Soap UI
o    Exposure to APIs, Web Services and XML
o    Writing SQL queries
o    Knowledge on SD, MM
•    Knowledge of business processes and transactions such as purchase orders, invoices, catalogues and punch-out catalogues, reconciliation (orders, receipts and invoices), vendor management, contracts, sourcing (requests for quotes/price, auctions) and supply chain
•    Proven ability to manage multiple tasks or projects with changing priorities. Thrives in a fast-paced environment and ability to work cross-culturally
•    Minimum 3 – 5 years of work experience required with Enterprise Cloud application, Spend Management Solutions and SAP PI Integration. 
QUALIFICATIONS 
BE/ME/MTech/MCA from recognized institution.
