Position Summary
The SAP Global Physical Security (GPS) Integration Analyst plays a key technical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations across GPS’s enterprise application ecosystem. This position focuses on leveraging SAP integration tools, security automation, APIs, and cloud platforms to improve system interoperability, performance, enhance security, and ensure compliance with global standards.
Acting as a bridge between Global Physical Security, SAP IT, and infrastructure teams, the Integration Analyst ensures seamless connectivity between enterprise systems while driving modernization, process improvement, and the adoption of secure and efficient integration practices.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise integration frameworks, SAP technologies, and IT infrastructure. This role requires a hands-on problem solver who can lead integration design, optimize existing processes, and ensure the reliability and compliance of GPS’s technical environment.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
- Design, build, and manage integration solutions across SAP and non-SAP applications using APIs, middleware, and SAP Integration Suite (CPI/BTP).
- Develop secure, scalable connections between on-premise and cloud-based systems to enable seamless data exchange.
- Lead data mapping, transformation, and validation efforts to maintain data quality and consistency.
- Collaborate with SAP IT, SAP Security Automation Engineering, audit and compliance teams, and other stakeholders to align GPS’s integration strategy within the broader enterprise architecture.
Operations & Optimization
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize integration workflows to ensure high availability and performance.
- Implement automation and process improvements to enhance system efficiency and reduce manual workloads.
- Build dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms to proactively identify and address integration issues.
- Support data migration and synchronization activities across multiple platforms.
Security, Compliance & Documentation
- Apply SAP and industry security best practices across all GPS integrations, infrastructure, and applications.
- Ensure adherence to organizational security and data privacy standards, including GDPR, NIST, and other relevant frameworks.
- Create and maintain documentation of integration architectures, configurations, and procedures.
- Conduct periodic assessments and audits to validate integration integrity, compliance, and performance.
Collaboration & Support
- Serve as a technical advisor and resource for the GPS team on application, infrastructure, and integration projects.
- Partner with IT, cybersecurity, and vendor teams to manage and improve third-party integrations, build internal applications and tooling, and ensure compliance objectives are met
- Provide training and guidance to GPS users and technical teams on integration tools, processes, and best practices.
- Stay current with emerging SAP technologies, integration frameworks, and automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in application integration, enterprise systems, or IT infrastructure roles.
- Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP, OData) and data formats (JSON, XML).
- Knowledge of cloud and hybrid architectures (Azure, AWS,GCP).
- Proven experience administering or integrating with identity providers (IdPs) such as Okta, Ping Identity, ForgeRock, or similar platforms.
- Deep understanding of authentication and federation protocols including SAML 2.0, OAuth 2.0, and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
- Experience implementing and managing SCIM (System for Cross-domain Identity Management) for automated provisioning and deprovisioning across cloud and SaaS applications.
- Working knowledge of MFA (Multi-Factor Authentication), SSPR (Self-Service Password Reset), and RBAC (Role-Based Access Control) models.
- Familiarity with certificate management, including signing, encryption, and federation trust configuration.
- Strong skills in troubleshooting SSO authentication flows, token exchanges, claims, and federation metadata.
- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, NIST, ISO 27001).
- Strong documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
