We are looking for an experienced Senior User Experience Designer to work on our Pre-Spend and Compliance suite of products. In this role, support and work in partnership with all our extended global product teams to develop simple and intuitive user experiences for our customers and millions of users around the world. You will use your depth in UX design, interaction design, and systems thinking to produce holistic end-to-end experiences that drive business results, while demonstrating a passion for strategy that focuses on user needs.

What you´ll do
- Proactively plan and deliver on the product roadmap partnering with matrixed, geographically distributed teams across the globe through all stages of the product development lifecycle, including research, product management, and engineering.
- Influence product roadmaps and designers, advocating for ways to improve our existing products, ensuring quality experiences.
- Serve as a staunch advocate for quality experiences even if in the face of adversity.
- Utilize your skills in design thinking, user research, and user-centered design to create low-to-high fidelity designs and prototypes.
- Work closely with SAP Concur’s Design Systems, Translation, and Accessibility teams to ensure your designs are consistent and accessible and adhere to or expand on our current design system framework.
- Work with product and engineering teams to understand the intricacies and configurations of our systems, and balance between ideal user experiences and system constraints.
- Work to gain knowledge of all Concur Travel and Expense product areas to ensure thoughtful and intentional end-to-end user experiences that may extend beyond your specific product area.
- Through your practice and experience, you promote and support a culture of product and data-driven design.
- Maintain an understanding of design/user experience trends and practices to help anticipate next-level needs for the team, how we work and our products.
- Demonstrate proactive and thoughtful communication with your off-site manager, as well as your on-site UX Principal.
What you bring
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in User Experience Design in the corporate space (doesn’t include university work)
- Bachelor or Master's degree in Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Design, Psychology, Computer Science, or other equivalent experience
- Demonstrated ability designing complex experiences and successful outcomes backed by data
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills including the ability to communicate complex, concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
- Ability to work with technical teams and handle multiple projects in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Portfolio that documents outcomes is required for this level. Measured results of efforts preferred.
- Experience in common industry tools such as Figma, Sketch and various user research tools.
- Proficiency working with designers and teams across the globe.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Working knowledge of Accessible design preferred.
- Experience in mobile and component design preferred.
