Role Description

As a member of the global P2P process management team within the COO F&A group. The global payments process manager is driving the transformation of the global payment processes through implementation of leading payment solutions, standardizing and streamlining business processes in line with SAP’s strategy and objectives across GFA and HR departments and regions. She/he applies a strong understanding of business and procure-to-pay and treasury processes as well as solid solution expertise, to deliver high quality results and support our internal customers in the successful adoption and use of our solution and processes.  The process manager has strong problem solving capabilities, good communication skills, can operate independently willing to take risks and is motivated to lead without authority and deal with changing environments while striving to deliver world-class results.

 

Key Responsibilities
• Collaboration with stakeholders and end-users to identify areas of improvements and transform the business process
• Prioritize based on qualitative and quantitative value scenarios the implementation roadmap for improvements
• Drive the implementation of system and process improvements for various payment methods together with members from Global Finance Shared Services, Treasury, SAP IT, Tax, GCCO, A/R, HR, and others
• Establish and control progress of the transformation and the process performance together with the GFSS Quality Management and Enterprise Analytics
• Strengthen interaction with P&I to seek for long term solutions and early adoption opportunities
• Design, document and maintain the entire processes with all interaction points (including compliance/SOX related control set up)
• Manage and communicate the process changes within the impacted organization
• Strengthen the process and system knowledge of all related users and stakeholders
• Solve escalations of broader/global scope and work on problem prevention for the future
• Provide process and system support to the migration and M&A integration processes
• Develop positive relationship with stakeholders, end-users across the related departments
• Provide regular updates of transformation progress, drive decisions and the change

Education
• Preferably successfully completed University Degree in Business Administration, Procurement, IT or a related field

 

Practical experience
• Experience working within a finance related field (min. 5 years)
• Working experience within a Shared Service Centre (min. 1 years)
• Working in the Treasury, Bank, P2P departments (min. 3 year)
• Working in global environment – supporting teams in different locations

 

Language Skills
• Fluent written and spoken English skills
• Fluency in another language as an advantage (preferably German or Spanish)

 

System knowledge
• SAP System knowledge (ERP) in the area of SAP FI AP/AR and FI/CA
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
• SAP Bank Communication Management (BCM), Payment Run set-up, XML payment files and Ariba knowledge
