What you`ll do
Summary:
Three of SAP’s large customers has started their “RISE with SAP” transformations and tasked SAP itself to move their businesses to the cloud. As part of this transformation, the ~150 productive landscapes must be moved to Azure and AWS. In parallel to the migration, these customers are also undergoing their SAP S/4HANA transformations to become Intelligent Enterprises. With your understanding of ECS and hyperscaler security architecture, you will be contributing to the ECS private Cloud adoption of the customer.
The Role:
As a Senior SAP Security Architect, you are supporting the Head of Architecture and Technology Advisory as well as the team to define and ensure a secure and compliant system environment and support also with hands-on activities. The candidate should ensure together with the customer and the team that the customer’s needs can be fulfilled and will work together with other ECS teams like the Technical Landscape Owners and Client Delivery Managers to implement the proposed solution as well as contribute during operations to potential root cause analysis as well as improvements based on evolving security requirements.
What you bring:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in one of the following areas: Cyber Security, Computer Science, Engineering.
- At least 4-8 years of professional experience thereof minimum 2 years as a consultant.
- Working experience in security-related topics with strong customer interaction
- Good knowledge of SAP’s security hardening guidelines.
- Experience in security operations.
- Experience in security reporting.
- Solid understanding of SAP’s authorization concept.
- Experience with SAP Security Notes handling.
- Good knowledge of vulnerability management.
- Solid know-how on SAP Technologies and Products.
- Development knowledge (ABAP, Python) is a plus.
- Good understanding of main security concepts and principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent in the English language, German is an advantage.
- Ability to work effectively as a virtual member of a dynamic, dispersed team (remote).
- Ability to establish solid working relationships with clients.

To provide the right level of service and to cope with the complexity and the specialties of our clients, a dedicated team was established within Enterprise Cloud Services Region MEE to work for these customers only. The goal of this team is to operate the entire customer SAP landscape and drive innovation adoption.
