Concur is looking for a Principal Program Manager to join our Global Product Experience team and lead UX Design Operations.   We are looking for someone with expert program management skills and a passion for user experience.  

This role will help our global product teams throughout Concur’s product ecosystem improve the user experience for our customers and our millions of users around the world.   Your work will influence product strategy, priorities and help to create a clear vision of the current and future user experience.


As a Principal Program Manager of Design Operations at Concur, you will:

  • Lead and drive our portfolio of UX initiatives.    You’ll establish a clear view of the health and asks for active work and proactively plan future portfolio needs, including forecast team capacity and skill demands.
  • You will work with senior UX and product leadership across the company and globe to establish priorities and triage new requests of the team.  You’ll clarify and translate asks into action and work with UX Managers to ensure delivery success.  
  • You’ll actively manage strategic UX initiatives, including managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating goals to project stakeholders.  
  • You’ll orchestrate and proactively monitor multiple simultaneous initiatives throughout the delivery lifecycle partnering cross-functionally with designers, researchers, product managers, engineers and extended team members to ensure success and helping to keep the team moving forward with urgency and on schedule.
  • You’ll look for ways to continue to streamline our UX practices within our team and in how we partner across teams helping to drive product excellence.  You'll look for ways to scale our practices so that we can grow seamlessly with our business.



  •  8+ years experience as a program/project manager.  Impeccable organizational and program management skills. 
  • Excellent communication skills.  Team player who seeks solutions to problems and can quickly translate ambiguity to clarity and action.   
  • Passionate about user experience.  Understanding of disciplines of design, user research, quantitative research in a product development context.  
  • You can lead and guide teams and create confidence across our extended team that we can deliver
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and balance multiple simultaneous initiatives.  
  • Ability to think incrementally and develop approaches, options and sequencing to large complex initiatives.
  • Experience working in rapid-growth companies or start-ups
  • Ability to build and scale teams.   Experience in an operationally-driven role
