Duties and Responsibilities

The Network Deployment/Enablement Lead owns the supplier lifecycle in SAP Business Network and all related applications (Ariba Network and others), is the main responsible for the creation and success of the Supplier enablement strategy. The NDL Is the buyer primary contact for vendor segmentation, communication strategy, business rules, Supplier training, Educational material, customer future state business and customer Change management.


The NDL oversees, is the main responsible and work as a project manager for the success of internal SAP Ariba teams working with suppliers, such as: Catalog specialist, onboarding specialists, Seller Integration, Education specialists, customer support and customer executives.


Has an end to end view in procurement, from sourcing to payment processes.

Accountable for structuring projects to meet customer goals and objectives.


Prepares and delivers analyses and presentations for customers to detail expectations, risks, possibilities, project plans, results, etc.

Responsible for understanding key business drivers and managing operational metrics, including cost, quality, cycle-time and customer satisfaction. Ensures that all reports and systems are current.


Demonstrates exceptional problem-solving skills and is seen internally as a leader within the role.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 7 years of Procurement Experience, from Sourcing to pay.
  • 7 years of SAP Enterprise Business Applications Experience
  • Project Management Experience
  • Fluent in English and Portuguese
  • Intermediate in Spanish
  • Be able to execute presentations in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience managing multiple projects at once
  • Understanding of key operational business metrics
  • Must be able to travel up to 20%


Preferred Experience and Knowledge

  • Experience in supplier segmentation, spend analyses, supply chain categories.
  • Experience with customer management (internal & external)
  • Experience in building both internal and external customer/team member relationships
  • PMP Certification
  • SAP Procurement solution/product knowledge (Ariba, Fieldglass, Concur)
  • E-commerce/Marketplace background
