As an Accessibility Tester, you will ensure that our cloud-based software meets accessibility standards and provides an inclusive user experience. You will collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to identify, report, and help resolve accessibility barriers.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
- Evaluate software and web applications for compliance with WCAG, ADA, Section 508, and other accessibility standards.
- Conduct manual and automated accessibility testing using tools like Axe, WAVE, NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver.
- Identify and document accessibility issues, providing clear and actionable reports.
- Work closely with developers to recommend and track their accessibility manual and automated test.
- Perform assistive technology testing to ensure compatibility with screen readers, voice control, and keyboard navigation.
- Perform code review using accessibility best practices, ensuring proper use of semantic HTML, ARIA attributes, and keyboard navigation support.
- Contribute to accessibility best practices and training for internal teams.
- Stay up to date with emerging accessibility trends, guidelines, and technologies.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:
- Experience with accessibility testing in web, mobile and cloud-based software.
- Familiarity with WCAG 2.1/2.2, ADA, Section 508, and other compliance standards.
- Proficiency with assistive technologies (screen readers, keyboard-only usage, magnifiers, voice recognition tools).
- Hands-on experience with automated accessibility testing tools (e.g., Axe, WAVE, Lighthouse).
- Understanding of HTML, ARIA, JavaScript, and CSS for accessibility improvements.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to document and communicate findings effectively.
