JOB SUMMARY:
The Catalog Advisor (CA) provides advisory and enablement services to customers deploying Catalog solutions. The role focuses on providing a delightful customer experience - working through all phases of project initiation, strategy definition, requirement confirmation, build, test, and enablement of successful pilot waves for go live. The CA team also supports customer after initial go-live to provide certain services that support further adoption and leverage new innovations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Customer Focus
- Works with Customer to understand their catalog needs, strategy and/or objectives.
- Work with customers to provide support and best practice during the deployment solution.
- Work with customer to define and document their catalog requirements.
- Deliver high-quality on-time implantation services on Catalog Enablement Projects to the buyer.
- Configure and assist with Catalog system settings to mee the buyer requirements.
- Support catalog supplier enablement during deployment phase.
- Provides support to Customers to enable catalog suppliers.
- Manage Catalog Workstream to support internal alignment with TPS catalog team.
- Provides status reporting updates to customer based on Atlas Tool
- Works with internal teams to bring project to successful solution.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, reporting progress and effectively communicating status.
- Track progress of Catalog Enablement deliverables.
- Proactively escalate issues to various stakeholders in the deployment team.
- Delegate issues deemed out of scope to appropriate teams/individuals.
Practice Development
- Works with Customers to create and realize their Catalog strategy.
- Contributes to project planning (road mapping, scope definition, etc.)
- Educates Customers on Catalog processes.
- Monitors supplier responses to test transactions.
- Performs catalog testing for CIF and PunchOut as needed.
- Provides issue resolution to Level 2 Help Desk tickets.
- Performs advanced troubleshooting with Suppliers as needed.
- Creates and maintains catalog metrics in Atlas project tracking tool.
- Identifies and implements process improvements initiatives.
- Demonstrates ability to take initiative, develop and implement new processes.
- Align with our Technology Procurement Services team for project transitions.
- Perform post deployment Catalog Adoption review with customers.
People Development
- Helps to train new Team members on advanced Catalog enablement and maintenance process, CIF, PunchOut and all Catalog functions.
- Acts as a mentor as requested to new Team members.
- Shares knowledge, trainings, and processes with the rest of the Catalog Team
Teamwork
- Supports Catalog Team with backup of other’s Projects as needed.
- Proactively escalates issues to project managers and application management.
- Works with other Team Members to increase technical competency.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Three to five (3-5) years of work experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Catalog enablement/maintenance, procurement, or related experience
Skills
- Focused on Customer Success
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Able to juggle many projects and tasks as needed.
- Work in an environment with changing deadlines
- Project Management experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Ariba Procurement and Catalog solutions a plus
- Proven problem-solving skills demonstrated through professional experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills required (including US Business English)
- Should have experience working with US customers.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve technical issues for catalog data and catalog transactions.
Knowledge
- Fluency in English and Spanish is desired.
- Experience with procurement related processes (requisitioning, order processing, invoicing, and payment)
- Prior experience/knowledge of XML, HTML is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills & strong customer focus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, conceptual thinker, Self-Motivated individual.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Understanding of Business-to-Business Catalog strategy.
- Knowledge of procurement business processes, from requisitioning to payment.
- Knowledge of the following is an advantage: cXML, SQL, web design.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- This role includes transferable skills such as customer support, training, project management, and consulting.
