About the team

 

The position reports to the SAP Labs Managing Director and, daily activities will be coordinated by Labs COO and Labs Monterrey site lead.  The intern will be working with the Managing Director team who has the responsibility to ensure and manage SAP Labs activities, communications, events, growth and pro-actively attract new businesses and investments. The intern will be expected to support all activities related to the development of the Monterrey location business is one of the main expected tasks.

Position Title: SAP Labs México Early Career Talent - Experience Center & Business Operations Specialist

Location: Monterrey, México

Schedule: 40 HR/Week

In-Person: Hybrid (2-3x/Week)

 

 

Activities and Responsibilities

 

The SAP Labs Latin America - Experience Center & Business Operations Specialist will participate in various Business & Administration projects to improve the management of tasks and interactions among teams at SAP Labs Latin America (São Leopoldo/Brazil and Monterrey/Mexico locations) with an emphasis on business results. 

 

Examples of tasks which you will be responsible for:

 

  • Establish a structure and plan for initiatives and programs based on projects – across both SAP Labs locations, São Leopoldo (SLE) & Monterrey (MTY).

  • Actively participate in developing and delivering new and existing projects that focus on business, serving customers (Experience Center) & internal team (Design Thinking community).

  • Monitor and communicate the results and achievements of project(s).

  • Work with different local and international business units to build strong and effective work relationships between SAP Labs Latin America sites (São Leopoldo & Monterrey) and their relevant stakeholders, leaders, and decision maker to boost visibility and expand possibilities.

  • Perform coordination and management duties such as e.g., arranging events, meetings, or workshops, dealing with stakeholders, hosting customer visits, creating materials, reporting and content portfolio management.   

 

Who you are

 

SAP Labs Latin America needs someone to support the relationship with SAP Monterrey by participating in our SAP Labs LA projects. For this, we need a trustworthy, upbeat, flexible, and cooperative person with good teamwork skills, who is committed to meeting deadlines, someone who can question the existing situation and enjoys learning new things. 

 

For this you will need:

  • Effective teamwork and relationship building skills.

  • To have the skill of creating visual content that matches and conveys ideas and concepts well.

  • To be an autonomous and original thinker who can initiate and carry out various concurrent tasks.

  • An eagerness to learn and a willingness to contribute new ideas to the team.

  • You should be an excellent team player with strong abilities to network and to work independently by using analytical and problem-solving skills and your willingness to learn quickly.

  • Advanced English & Spanish skills (written & spoken).

  • Portuguese skills are a plus (written & spoken).

  • Good skills with Microsoft Office applications

  • Ability to gain productivity by using AI tools (Copilot or LLMs prompts is a main plus)

  • University student enrolled to Business Administration, International Relations, Economics, Marketing, or related courses.
