Objective & Purpose

 

SAP’s Customer Adoption Marketing team has a clear objective to engage customers throughout their post-sale journey to drive adoption, retention and create loyal customers for life. The team is looking for a creative, highly-motived content strategist to own the identification of content needs and content development across specific SAP product areas. This highly-visible role offers the opportunity to collaborate cross-functionally and apply a variety of marketing disciplines to achieve objectives. We are a fast moving, data and results driven team with a common mindset – always putting the needs of our customers first.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and execute a customer-centric content strategy to achieve Adoption Marketing team outcomes and KPIs.
  • Ensure alignment of content planning with product marketing, channels, field teams, and customer engagement teams for cohesive messaging.
  • Optimize content to support adoption, consumption, and retention objectives.
  • Conduct message testing across various content types and distribution channels.
  • Oversee end-to-end execution of content deliverables, including the creation and distribution of assets, and maintenance of assets in content repository.
  • Deliver in partnership with internal stakeholders and external vendors, solution adoption content such as blogs, videos, articles, infographics, white papers, eBooks, case studies, best practices, how-to guides, etc.
  • Support the budgeting process with forecasting and staying within x% of allocated content budget
  • Continually measure content effectiveness to build high-performing content for the right audience and channels.

Key Skills & Competencies

 

  • Minimum 8 years of B2B or B2C digital, high-tech marketing experience, SAAS experience a plus
  • Outstanding written & verbal communication skills
  • Experience and strong competency in copywriting
  • Must be proficient in marketing automation tools and their application for adoption programs.
  • Strong collaboration skills and experience successfully working across cross-functional teams
  • Must be proficient in developing content strategies, marketing content plans and executing marketing programs (ideally in the post-sale/adoption space)
  • Must be able to understand, critique and give feedback on content design and delivery methods.
  • Must have working familiarity with multiple digital channels and their applicability within an adoption marketing plan
  • Must have experience producing high performing content
  • Must have good understanding of customer lifecycle journey

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and stay on time, within budget

Educational Requirements

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required

 

Location

 

  • San Ramon or Newtown Square – highly preferred

Compensation Range Transparency: SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 117,100 - 243,400 USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
