Purpose and Objective:  
Callidus Software, Inc. seeks an IT Application Senior Consultant at our San Ramon, CA location to deliver outcomes of assigned projects; work independently on topics while setting priorities having sole responsibility. 

 

Expectations and Tasks: 
Solve complex issues in own area (e.g. cross-functional or cross-country projects). Decisions/solutions can enhance essentially current and future; design and strategy; Enhance complex systems/processes. Utilize advanced technical or business or project skills relevant for job. Represents SAP to customers; Communicates clear and conveying processes & policies in a way that others can understand. Advocate end user by having a deep understanding of end user needs, behaviors & usage patterns. Promote the role of User Experience, thorough understanding of contemporary user-centered design methodologies & practices and ability to integrate those into current and future development efforts. Develop, maintain, and support business processes. Work with team of technical consultants to create a system solution to meet the user need. Provide the resulting systems, applications, products and services. Provide application specific expert consulting. Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews (BPS, CA). Take over responsibility as project lead (BPS, CA). Define/review technical blueprint for internal IT projects. Involve in Configuration and Customizing. Conduct IT internal tests. Provide technical documentation and LoB end user training, along with third level support (GOPS, CA). 10% travel required. Telecommuting permitted.

 

Education and Qualifications/Skills and Competencies: 
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field of study and 6 years of experience required. The company will also accept a Master's degree and 4 years of experience. 

 

Work Experience: 
Experience must involve 2 years in the following: ServiceNow Application Configuration and Development; Now Platform Operations and System Administration; Software Design and Engineering (Full SDLC, Full Stack, Methods, Tools, Applications); Enterprise and Application Architecture Fundamentals (Small to Multi-National Business IT EcoSystems); Agile Scrum Process Framework for Software Development (Methods, Practices, Tools, Metrics, Team Structure); IT Compliance and Security Foundations (SOX IT Controls, IT Security Arch, Compliance; Database Configuration Noetix/ ServiceNow; and Database End to End Suite implementation. Experience must also include: Software as a Service (SaaS) Business Process Knowledge; System Implementation Consulting and Project Management; Business Engagement Management and System User Communication; Team Leadership and Task Assignment in an Agile Work Setting; and Noetix product suite installation and configuration. 10% travel required. Telecommuting permitted.
