About the role

 

SAP Intelligent Spend & Business Networks (ISBN) is seeking a Regional Product Marketing Senior Specialist for the LAC region to join our dedicated team. The focus of this role is on developing regional product marketing strategy, messaging, and positioning. This regional product marketer will also work cross-functionally to plan and execute innovative go-to-market motions for SAP ISBN solutions, with the goal of achieving category leadership and supporting pipeline, sales, adoption, retention, and growth objectives for their respective market units.

 

The successful candidate will own an informed data-driven understanding of the market, competitive landscape, customer needs, whitespace, and product/solution value, ensuring that new and existing products and solutions are positioned to optimize regional success with the ability to expand the vision of ISBN and SAP’s suite-first approach.  This position acts as a market expert, thought leader and evangelist inside SAP influencing internal solution innovations, core marketing strategies and company perception. 

 

Reporting to the Head of ISBN Regional Product Marketing, this person will be the product marketing partner for multiple organizations within SAP ISBN, including global product marketing, field marketing, Digital Hubs, and customer success teams. 

 

Strategic Responsibilities

 

  • Translate the company’s objectives, market opportunities and portfolio of offerings into a cohesive, region centric market strategy. 
  • Typical responsibilities and tasks include aligning business requirements to Market unit needs -understanding the fundamentals of market economics, whitespace opportunities, and global business objectives. 
  • Product/Solution knowledge – Develop an understanding of the solution portfolio and interpret to create a differentiated value proposition and messaging, tailored to the regional audience. 
  • Advocate for the customer: Share customer feedback and sentiment from various internal and external listening channels.
  • Strategic Planning - Contribute to marketing business planning based on LoB priorities, product value proposition, audience needs and whitespace opportunities. 
  • Program Planning - Contribute to integrated marketing program planning by providing an audience point of view via positioning, messaging, and respective regional  expertise.
  • Support Content Localization - Collaborate across marketing and customer success to create nuanced customer-facing content to drive regional customer demand from new customer acquisition through renewal.

 

Stakeholder Engagement

 

  • Manage end-to-end projects, define deliverables, and provide definitive advice and interpretation of regional situations.
  • Represent Product Marketing in Regional Marketing, Customer Success and Product Strategy leadership forums. 
  • Build strategic partnerships with key regional decision makers in customer & partner organization.
  • Team-first approach, open to receive and provide peer mentoring and feedback; flexible to support other projects based on business priorities. 
  • Manage escalations appropriately.
  • Ensure business critical & innovative results, navigating uncertainty. 
  • Act independently and confidently makes business decisions.

  • Provide concrete and regular project status and updates proactively. 
  • Make decisions and propose solutions towards enhancing current and future plans and strategies.

Experience & Language Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required 
  • Previous related experience 
  • Project leadership (medium to large-scaled projects)
  • Data analytics and reporting: Excel & CRM knowledge
  • Experience working on products or go-to-market strategies for LAC markets (preferred)
