PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

We’re looking for talented people who is dreaming to become a true HANA database expert! Have you ever wondered how HANA database works and its future is? This is a perfect opportunity for you to be a part of HANA development.

There is no perfect software/services. Customers sometimes meet issues during running HANA / HANA Cloud. But SAP has a state-of-the-art "support process". Most known issues or consulting issues are handled by SAP product support and/or SAP consultants. But some issues are really caused by a bug of HANA. In this case, HANA Development Support team in HANA database development org is a team to investigate them and communicate with customers on behalf of entire HANA database development team as the final stage of SAP support process.

In short, SAP HANA Development Support team is a global customer supporting team in HANA database organization. On behalf of HANA database development team, we are helping internal/external customers to run their business on HANA on-premise / cloud better. Also we enhance the quality of product as a big part of HANA development process.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

Your tasks includes:

• Solve complex Hana database problems of customers and SAP internal stakeholders

• Communicate issues with global front-office support or global customer

• Work hand-in-hand with development to improve quality.

• Improve supportability features and the documentation

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

Required skills:

• Basic knowledge of database architecture and SQL

• Good communication skills: verbal and written working proficiency in English and Korean

• Strong analytical skills: familiar with debugging and analyzing complex problems

Optional skills:

• Knowledge of LINUX

• Knowledge of Cloud infra

• Knowledge of Python/shell-Scripting, C/C++

• Using C++-Debuggers (like GDB) or profiling tools

• Knowledge of SAP Applications (e.g. BW, S/4 HANA)
