PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

The Application Integration unit in the Product & Engineering Board Area with locations in Shanghai, Bangalore, Sofia and Walldorf maintains and develops SAP’s integration products to build scalable, efficient, and easily manageable end-to-end integration solutions.

Our products (AIF, PI and SAP integration Suite) are sustainable & stable (since ~1990 till now), high value (with 30000+ customers), key components and continuous investment for SAP future.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

As a developer in the Application Integration unit, you will be working with a group of exceptionally experienced, talented, and motivated colleagues to support customers and other SAP development teams with maintenance and development topics. You will need to:

· Understand SAP’s development environment (ABAP and Java) and related technologies and have detailed technical understanding in the subject area

· Perform detailed development and/or technical implementation/support with all aspects including design, coding, testing, documentation, customer support

· Drive continuous improvements with focus on quality, stability, usability, maintainability

· Work closely with other SAP development teams, also in a virtual, cross-located environment, to ensure successful delivery of development work packages.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

· Graduated with bachelor’s degree or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering or Mathematics

· Fluent in English (Oral & Written)

· 1-3 years Proficient in ABAP programming language/Strong understanding of SAP ABAP development and customization/Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA

· 1-3 years of profound java development experience: design, architectural and development skills in XML, XSLT, Java Script, Spring boot, Relational database, Eclipse (IntelliJ), Git, JIRA, Restful API, Object-oriented programming, test automation skills, etc.

· (Nice to have)1-year front-end development experience, proficient in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript, with a strong understanding of Web standards.

· Continuous integration/Delivery knowledge, cloud platform, performance, security is a plus

· Good business understanding with the ability to understand customer requirements and translate it into features and software design.

· Willingness and proven ability to quickly acquire knowledge of new areas and technologies, Self-motivated, curious, open minded, resourceful and flexible with the ability to learn quickly.

· Constructive and open style of communication skills and team player with good writing, presentation, and time management skills
