About the Role

As an Associate Developer in the SAP Digital Workplace Development team, you will be on one of the teams that develop the Digital Workplace, delivered by SAP as an out-of-the-box and yet extensible solution and be ready to master the integration challenge.

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, and develop new features by working with Product Management, User Experience, and Software Testing to elaborate on features, estimate task time, and then quickly write high-quality code for complex features.

  • Work closely with local and global engineering teams to develop and maintain Enterprise Social Collaboration platforms, frameworks and applications.

  • Write quality, testable, maintainable, and well-documented code.

  • Give support to support service employees on customer issue.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

  • BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical.

  • 0-2 years working experience in software development or maintenance.

  • Familiar with one popular programming language.

  • Knowledge of standard programming algorithms and object-oriented concepts.

  • A team player with good communication skills, speaking and writing fluent English.

  • High commitment to quality, reliability and a self-motivating style of working.

  • Experience with Ruby-on-Rails is a plus.
