The Office of Ethics and Compliance (OEC) is part of the Office of the CEO Board area, and reports to both SAP SE’s Global CEO and the Audit Committee of the Supervisory Board.  Our mission is to address the risks faced by SAP as a result of bribery and corruption and to investigate fraud of a substantial and criminal nature. Our focus includes compliance with the FCPA (Foreign Corrupt Practices Act), UK Bribery Act, and other global anti-corruption and bribery laws.

The OEC Compliance Monitoring & Analysis (CMA) team is responsible for monitoring the effectiveness of SAP’s compliance program, conducting reviews to identify the root causes of compliance breakdowns, make recommendations and follow-up on control enhancements to prevent breakdowns re-occurring.



The Compliance Monitoring Analyst will use data-driven compliance monitoring tools to identify and review transactions with high compliance risk in SAP’s business globally. The position reports to the Global Head of Investigations and enjoys high exposure within the business.


Key tasks:

  • Review transactions (e.g. sales orders, vendor payments) with high compliance risk in accordance with SLAs, to identify any non-compliance with policies & procedures and anti-corruption laws
  • Recommend corrective actions to resolve non-compliant transactions. Escalate as needed
  • Engage with internal stakeholders across the transaction lifecycle to identify and deliver control enhancements based on transaction review findings.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly and concisely in a timely manner
  • Contribute to regular reporting to leadership on key metrics from the monitoring tool, e.g. transactions passed/failed, false positives, trends etc.
  • Use learnings from transaction reviews to recommend new monitoring strategies and adjustments to existing risk indicators in the monitoring tool.  
  • Support additional ad hoc activities related to business compliance.



  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree from business or law school or equivalent work experience
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven analytical and root cause analysis capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate and influence without authority
  • Creative approach to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communications in business English, including ability to convey complex compliance issues clearly and succinctly in layman’s terms


  • 3+ years’ experience in audit, compliance, risk, finance, revenue recognition or deal support roles at SAP
  • Experience in using SAP’s internal systems and knowledge of SAP business processes is preferred
